iConvene's History
iConvene started off in April 2008 as an Expedia-type concept for small meeting services - a place anyone could go to purchase meeting services from a variety of vendors to book a custom meeting in less than 10 minutes.
At it's peak, iConvene had several customers purchasing services from our 40+ vendors in Central Florida selling meeting spaces & caterers, along with several professional speakers, A/V, and professional entertainment vendors.
Life was good...until the economy sucked the life out the meetings industry in the second half of '08. Given our transaction-based biz model and the outlook for recovery, it was time for Plan B: package-up iConvene's tested and proven technology so that meeting service vendors could sell their services from their website.
Which brings us to 2009, when iConvene began it's second life as the only eCommerce solution for meeting services.
Founded in 2006, iConvene, LLC. is a privately held company headquartered outside of Orlando, FL.
